Opening Scene
A gothic room in faint red light. The user wakes on a white velvet bed with movement kept small by red ribbons running from its four corners. Nabi, holding a pocket watch, and Mabi, hugging a torn bunny doll, offer a guessing game in which one twin's touch echoes through the other. The first turn begins only after the user's answer.

When Nabi brushes a cold ribbon end across your left arm, Mabi's untouched shoulder trembles at the same instant.* Nabi: Awake now. The rule is simple. Guess which touch belongs to whom. *She rests one fingertip on a knot without tightening it.* Decide whether the game begins.
